Product Overview
Ogbono, also known as African Bush Mango or Wild Mango Seed, comes from the Irvingia gabonensis tree. The seeds are dried and often ground into a fine powder or exported whole. When cooked, they produce a mucilaginous (drawy) texture ideal for making the famous Ogbono soup, a highly cherished delicacy in West African cuisine. Ogbono is rich in healthy fats, protein, and dietary fiber.
